Our Members

virtUOS is an academic service provider for the entire university. Our services range from pedagogical consulting for lecturers, infrastructure services for digital teaching (LMS, lecture recording, video conferencing and more) to the management of student data. Additionally virtUOS is also a research and development department, where several software developers work on open-source educational software, and pedagogues research the effect of digital teaching projects.

The Université Ouverte des Humanités (UOH) is one of the eight digital universities in France. The disciplinary fields of the institution are the following: human sciences, social sciences, letters, languages and arts. The missions of this university are: – Support teachers in the blended learning class – Promoting better student success, particularly in bachelor’s degree I and II. – Assess the valorisation, the diffusion and the production of digital and pedagogical resources. – Index and diffusion of the institutional portal web for contribute to the development of “L’Université Numérique”

The Audiovisual Center (AVC) of the University of Amsterdam (UvA) is a centre of expertise on video in education. It produces video, such as educational videos, webinars, live streams and podcasts and provides policymakers, teachers and supporting staff with advice on the use of audiovisual media in education with a pedagogical, technical and organisational point of view.

Born in 2007, UbiCast is the European leader in video learning solutions. Our mission is to improve learning and communication by making video engaging, collaborative and durable. To do so, UbiCast has developed Nudgis, a customisable private video platform made for teachers to record, store and stream interactive and impactful content in video format. Thanks to its engaging sidebar and social features, Nudgis is the perfect tool to easily captivate students’ attention and enhance the whole learning experience!
