Media & Learning 2026: Co-creating the future of learning
The annual Media & Learning conference brought over 400 educators, media professionals and researchers to Leuven on 17-18 June 2026 to explore how media can support, enrich and transform learning.
About the conference
Media & Learning 2026 took place on 17 and 18 June 2026 at the Faculty Club in the historic Groot Begijnhof in Leuven, Belgium. Under the theme Co-creating the future of learning, the programme combined keynote talks, parallel sessions, hands-on workshops and demonstrations covering the use of media in higher education.
Topics this year included generative AI in teaching and learning, educational video production, learning spaces, media literacy and open educational resources. As always, the conference offered plenty of room for discussion and exchange between participants from across Europe and beyond.
