Zuyd University is an ambitious university of applied sciences in the south part of the Netherlands focusing on: education, research and training for professionals. To support these ambitions, the Education and Research Services Department has recently expanded with an expert team that advises and supports in the field of Blended Learning and Instructional Media. Part of this team are a group of video professionals that make these educational videos from script to final editing and assists faculty in making their own materials. In addition, they offer training in the didactic use of video.

Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is an international joint venture university founded by Xi’an Jiaotong University (China) and the University of Liverpool (UK). The University currently offers approximately 45 undergraduate and 53 postgraduate degree programmes across a wide range of disciplines, and all are taught in English. PhD opportunities are also available. Undergraduate students earn two degrees: an XJTLU degree from the Chinese Ministry of Education and a globally recognised degree from the University of Liverpool. Postgraduate students receive a University of Liverpool degree.

We are the AudioVisual department of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. We provide assistance, infrastructure projects, innovative technologies like 360° immersive rooms, lending service and content production.

VU Amsterdam is a unique university with faculties in the humanities, STEM, social sciences and medical sciences. Our education and research are closely linked. The University of Oulu is one of Finland’s leading research universities, known for its strong focus on high-quality teaching, digital innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration across its faculties. OPE Centre for Pedagogical Support and Development Our newly established OPE Centre supports teachers and degree programmes by providing e.g. pedagogical guidance, digital-learning expertise and curriculum-development services. Its team of specialists works closely with teaching staff across the university to enhance learning design, promote inclusive and student-centred teaching practices, and strengthen the quality of both on-campus and online education.

The Digital Learning and Multimedia Office is in charge of managing, promoting and updating hardware and software for online teaching and for technological support to research and traditional teaching. The Office also provides a range of services such as filming, streaming, editing, consulting and training. The Office knowledge and skills are made available to the University professors and staff. In particular, the Office organises workshops and training activities for staff and provides specific consultancy for design and supply of courses. The Office also promotes and realises a range of multimedia products, such as MOOCs, video lessons and video tutorial for self-learning. The Office is additionally in charge of distributing online scientific contents through different platforms and manages the Moodle platform for University Schools, Departments and other offices.

We’re a team of 15 TEL specialists, including senior learning technologists, digital education developers and digital media producers, as well as specialists in digital accessibility, IT training, and course co‑ordination. We support academics, students and learners through the provision of our five complementary services: digital accessibility, digital education, digital environments, digital media and digital training & skills. The services support staff in creating and delivering online, blended and in-person teaching; they also support students through dedicated digital skills training. We have a strong culture of partnership working with staff, students, and other professional services colleagues.

Established in 1365, the University of Vienna is one of the oldest and largest universities in Europe and the largest research institution in Austria with currently 20 faculties and centres. In Media & Learning, the University of Vienna participates through its Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), providing lecturers and students with the support and services they need to develop their didactic competencies and study skills.
