Designing Multiple Choice Quizzes

An exam expert from FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, explains in this 4-minute long video how to design effective multiple-choice quizzes and questions. Since creating meaningful, multiple-choice question-based exercises that accurately reflect students’ abilities is a time-consuming process, Gerl’s video material provides helpful tips for developing relevant question content. In addition to presenting various question types and their objectives, the video also covers questionnaire design, the importance of weighting by relevance, and offers a structure that can be efficiently applied to multiple-choice assessments.
