Creative Hub GR is an initiative by the Hellenic Film and Audiovisual Center aimed at developing, promoting, and protecting Greece’s audiovisual, cultural, and creative sectors with a focus on new technologies, innovation, and education. Its Audiovisual, Media Literacy, and Social Action Department offers programs to enhance media literacy and creative education in both formal and non-formal settings. It organises school workshops, student competitions, and produces Open Educational Resources. The department also represents Greece in EU media literacy discussions and collaborates with global organisations like UNESCO and the UN. Since 2018, it has coordinated the Euro-Mediterranean Chapter of the UNESCO Media and Information Literacy Alliance, and it is currently working on the Blueprint on Media and Creative Literacy in Education.
